Jeff has 29 years of experience of business leadership, primarily dealing with architecting and leading complex business change. He has worked with numerous prominent organizations; at all levels, and on both sides -- being fully accountable for results from a consulting perspective, as well as holding key leadership positions in industry.

Jeff is a hands-on leader, understanding the depth and breadth of key business areas – such as supply chain, costs reduction, business integration, business process, sourcing, change, and information technology. Industry experience includes industrial and consumer products, retail, financial services, and utilities. Also, Jeff has extensive global experience.

Mr. Boston has served as both CEO and CIO in industry, and as a leading Partner at both AlixPartners and Coopers & Lybrand / PwC.

Over recent years, Jeff has worked hand-in-hand with prominent private equity companies on a number of fronts – from leading acquisition due diligence and integration, developing digital product-based strategies, delivering critical – often technology-based – change programs, enterprise operational improvement and cost reduction, to serving as interim CIO.

Some companies in which Jeff has worked closely with over the years in these capacities include The Limited, Procter & Gamble, Baxter, Thomson Multimedia, Wisconsin Energy, Dell, Monsanto, Zurich, West Publishing, Local Insight Media, McAfee, American Express, Daimler, Pamida, Shopko, Navistar, Macmillan Publishing, RR Donnelly, Goodyear, Allied Van Lines and National Van Lines, Johnson Controls, Honda America Manufacturing, Stepan, Tractor Supply Company, Manpower, and Motorola.

PE firms over recent years have included Welsh Carson, Investcorp, Vestar, Audax, and Sun Capital.

Bachelor of Science and MBA (International Finance, with European studies) from Northern Illinois University, working his own way through school at UPS and a USG steel factory; also a Resident Assistant and a teaching Teachers Assistant.

Ongoing part-time instructor for various graduate programs, including NIU and DePaul.
